  • Clients will be encouraged to be independent, to socialize and to adopt a normal lifestyle within the community but their own lifestyle choices will be respected
  • The privacy of each client will be respected, and all affairs will be dealt with in the strictest confidence
  • Clients will be encouraged to become actively involved in decisions and in the running of the organization
  • Clients will be helped to maintain their individuality and right of responsibility and to take reasonable risk
  • Wherever possible principal carers will be encouraged to take an active role in the organization
